About the Work
I coach middle and senior level, highly motivated, driven, professional women who are determined to make their mark on the world through their work. They’ve built big careers. They speak up. But something’s missing – the right support. I stand fiercely by their side as they reclaim their agency, voice, authority, and power. My coaching and my Ally Leadership model are based on progressive feminist values including intersectionality, inclusion, agency, allyship, and equity.
Coaching takes place either in person or virtually (on Zoom). Our coaching sessions are confidential.
You need an executive coach when you’re ready to level up your career. You also need an executive coach when you’re struggling with something you can’t quite identify.
Maybe your CEO has gone quiet, and you can’t tell what it means. Maybe your team can do more than they’re delivering, and nothing you’ve tried has changed that. Maybe you’re navigating your next career move, and every option looks equally possible. Maybe your work keeps getting dismissed, and you’ve started to wonder if they’re right and you’ve slipped. Maybe you’re wondering if you should be looking for new opportunities and aren’t sure if that’s the smart move.
You can feel it in your bones. You just can’t name it because you don’t have the words yet. Until you do, it can feel like you’re reacting instead of choosing.
And that’s what’s making you uncomfortable. You’re proactive, not reactive.
Naming the problem gives you the power to work through a hard situation. When we name what’s really going on with your boss, your team, your next move, or your own story, your options come into focus.
Then, we build the strategies to address those issues. We work them all at once because they’re related: how to manage up so you can do your best work, how to plan your exit while exploring what comes next, and, most importantly, how to stay sane as you do all of this. Every strategy is about making proactive choices.
By the way, I tell all of my clients that it’s always good to look at other jobs.
I’ll bet you’ve been working all of this out on your own because there’s no one around who sees the whole picture. I hold that picture — I see you, I validate what you’ve lived and navigated, and together we create decision-making strategies that you can put into place the very next day.

We do three things: Evaluate where you are, Refine your vocabulary, and Manifest unexpected outcomes.
Evaluate: We find it. In our first sessions, I get a rapid, deep read on where you are right now: your career, your challenges, your goals, your strategies, your presence, and your leadership.
Refine: We name it. Words are our instrument. In every meeting and exercise, we refine how you describe yourself, your leadership, and your value, building a vocabulary that fully reflects your magnificence.
Manifest: We design outcomes you could never imagine for yourself. Everything we’ve excavated, discovered, and named turns into a personal presence, strategies, and scripts that work wherever you find yourself.
Coaching takes place either in person or virtually (on Zoom). The cadence of how often we meet depends on your specific needs. Our coaching sessions are confidential.
Quickly. I read people fast, and that deep understanding gets our work off the ground in our first sessions. You leave with a mind shift that sticks quickly and for good. Clients come back years later, still using what we uncovered together, still leading with it, and still recognizing their own value without needing someone else to point it out first.
While these words are frequently used interchangeably, they describe different relationships. Here’s how I see each one.
Coach
Most coaches have pursued training in coaching techniques. Career Coaches exist to help people level up their games at work – just like coaches for various sports. They’re not therapists. They are advisors and advocates. Coaches may specialize in an industry, a specific field, a demographic, or a skillset (resumes, LI, confidence, executive skills). Their job is to help their clients bring the best, most effective version of themselves to the work they want to do. I’m a Certified Professional Career Coach, and I coach progressive feminist women leaders who are ready to step into their power and make their mark at work and in the world.
Therapist
Therapists are licensed practitioners trained to help people work through mental health struggles. Many of my clients also work with a therapist. When something that comes up in a session belongs in therapy, I say so.
Advocate
Advocates stand with you when you need expert backup. They bring expertise and support to a specific situation, such as a meeting with your child’s school, a discrimination hearing, or an HR issue.
Teachers
Teachers are educators. They guide you through learning specific, usually prescribed, skills. The best ones also show you how to put those skills to work.
Mentor
Mentors guide you as you grow and move up through your work. The best mentors find you. They show a sustained interest in your work: they invite you onto bigger projects, ask for your input, and encourage you to speak up in meetings. They show up organically, and it’s most effective to ask someone to be your mentor only after they’ve made their interest in your career clear.
Sponsor
Sponsors say your name in rooms you’re not in. When a department is hiring new project managers or leads, they bring you up in the hiring meeting. You often learn about it after the fact, and sometimes you never learn about it at all.
Advisor or consultant
Advisors bring their experience and a particular skill set to an issue you’re facing. Consultants are brought in for specific expertise on a defined problem. Both are valuable for the question in front of you. Coaching is a relationship built around you, your career, and your goals over time.
Girl. Because of what happened to you over the course of your career. The politics, the dismissals, and the gaslighting are intentionally designed to plant an insidious voice in your head that says you’re not good enough. And, even worse, your achievements aren’t real. That voice is ridiculously wrong. We annihilate it by reclaiming the truth of your achievements and the power of your work — repeatedly, until it sticks.
In every meeting, I validate the lived experience you share with me because I believe you — I believe what you tell me. Period. End of story.
